Volcanic Activity in Southern California

I am posting this not to cause fear, but awareness that earth changes are taking place, I don't believe this will be a Mount St Helens type event, but there's been a mass of earthquake clusters around the southern tip of the Salton Sea.  Dutchsinse has been tracking the out gassing of volcanic plumes in the western United States.

Personally I think this is an earth change that will eventually bring the Gulf of California farther up into the California deserts. I don't have scientific proof of that, that's just my opinion. Over what time span I do not know, perhaps centuries. This would in the long term be a good thing, it would bring needed moisture to the desert regions of the western United States.  But that's just my theory  

The man who founded Culligan water softeners wrote a book in the 1960s about an underground river that runs from the Sierra snow pack runoff under the Mohave desert to the Gulf of Mexico. I've heard stories that there are places in the desert where you can hear this river running underground.

There's some sort of geologic instability from the Salton Sea to the Gulf of California.  Whether its a moving magma plume (some say its moving toward Mammoth Lakes) or underground caverns with a river running through it remains to be seen.  There is no denying the great amount earthquake activity in the region since 2009.
