Updated: Dewey and LeBoeuf Law Firm Troubles

Are there any lawyers that can explain what is going on the Wall Street Law firm Dewey and LeBouf? Dewey and LeBoeuf is a finance and energy law practice and it has lost 70 partners and there are rumors of an impending bankruptcy.

Here's some URLs I was sent, one interesting tangent on this is one of the partners had a Russian spy girlfriend, Anna Chapman. Imagine seeing your girlfriend taken away by the FBI?

I still haven't figured out why they issued an unusual bond offering in 2010, seems like they had to come up with cash in a hurry and didn't want to go to banks for it.

This is a low priority project, but still its curious.
